In His Name

I am come to thee, O land of the heart's desire, with tidings from God, and announce to thee His gracious favor and mercy, and greet and magnify thee in His name.

Bahá’u’lláh, Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 121

None have believed in Him except them who, through the power of the Lord of Names, have shattered the idols of their vain imaginings and corrupt desires and entered the city of certitude. The seal of the choice Wine of His Revelation hath, in this Day and in His Name, the Self-Sufficing, been broken. Its grace is being poured out upon men. Fill thy cup, and drink in, in His Name, the Most Holy, the All-Praised.

Bahá’u’lláh, Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 12

Nothing whatsoever can, in this Day, inflict a greater harm upon this Cause than dissension and strife, contention, estrangement and apathy, among the loved ones of God. Flee them, through the power of God and His sovereign aid, and strive ye to knit together the hearts of men, in His Name, the Unifier, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

Bahá’u’lláh, Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 8

The Most Mighty Bell hath appeared in the form of Him Who is the Most Great Name, and the fingers of the Will of Thy Lord, the Most Exalted, the Most High, toll it out in the heaven of Immortality in His name, the All-Glorious.

Bahá’u’lláh, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 67

Arise in His name, put your trust wholly in Him, and be assured of ultimate victory.

As to thee: Be happy because of what thy Lord, the Clement, the Merciful, hath given thee; choosing thee and thy esteemed wife for entrance into His Kingdom, for calling in His name, praising Him in assemblies, gatherings and meetings.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá v1, p. 176

Beloved art thou, for thou hast lighted the lamp of the love of God in the glass of America, called out in His Name among the people and guided them to the Kingdom of El-ABHA.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá v3, p. 517

From what distant parts of the world He has brought us together in this house and caused us to meet at this heavenly table, for love has prepared a feast and bidden ‘Abdu’l-Bahá to let this entertainment be in His name.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 43

I ask God to make thee a sign of guidance, fountain of knowledge and a caller in His name, the Merciful, so that the hearts may become gladdened by the mention of God and the souls be led to the Kingdom of God, to this Great Dwelling Place and Sublime Home.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá v1, p. 76

Therefore, call in His Name, spread the fragrances of God, guide unto the path of God and cause the souls to enter the Kingdom of God!

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá v3, p. 662

Verily I praise my Supreme Lord for choosing you to call in His Name among the people, for attracting you to the beauty of El-ABHA and for strengthening you in rendering His Cause victorious.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá v1, p. 18

Let them dedicate themselves -- young and old, men and women alike -- and go forth and settle in new districts, travel, and teach in spite of lack of experience, and be assured that Bahá’u’lláh has promised to aid all those who arise in His Name. His strength will sustain them; their own weakness is unimportant.
